Community Service Chairman Steve Bayne

 


Los Angeles Alumni consistently pursues an aggressive schedule of community activities. At least once a month the brothers of the chapter are out in the community making a difference. In addition to the ongoing tutoring and mentoring programs, Community Service Chairman Steve Bayne has lead efforts such as community and beach clean-ups, tandem bike rides with the Junior Blind Organization, various walks to raise money for worthy causes,  a yearly Prostrate Cancer screening at a local church, and The Annual Uly Griggs Blood Drive.


Saturday, June 1, 2013, 7am registration, 8;30 am start time, United Negro College Fund (UNCF) Walk for Education, Exposition Park. UNCF plays a critical role in enabling more than 60,000 students each year to attend college and get the education they want and deserve. Come walk with the Devine 9 and HBCU graduates, reaching back to give others a hand.
